Darkness and wood.

Team LiteraryAs you may or may not know or care many of you don’t readily recognize Linda and I when we’re out and about at parties and what not. Oftentimes we’ll get the comment “oh you look different without the bar in front of you”. We usually grunt or smile or pass out sleeping ’cause we’ve heard that a few times the past 18 years. Well today I had an e-mail exchange with a patron who expressed that thought in a new way. She said she didn’t recognize us in the photo at the left because:

Yes! I thought I recognized that beautiful couple. But, without context
it’s confusing. To see you with blue sky behind you instead of darkness
and wood.

Darkness and wood. Nice.

Yes come in and see us this weekend surrounded by darknes and wood and when you get tired of looking at us you can stare at the snow pouring on the electric city streets from your cozy perch in the warm bar.
